SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
HISTORY
Located in Norton Shores, Michigan (just North of Grand Haven on the lakeshore),
Roosevelt Park Little League (RPYA) has been in existence for 30 years and is a
proud charter member of Little League International. RPYA is a non-profit
organization funded entirely by registration fees, concession profits and sponsor
donations. Unlike most little leagues in the area, RPYA is privately owned and
operated by several hundred volunteers.
Our area has a very successful and storied little league program right in your own
backyard! RPY A has a proud history of achievements including two State
Championship baseball teams in 1999 and 2001 along with District Championships
in 2002, 2007, 2008 and 2009. However, more important than achievement and
accolades is that every year hundreds of RPYA boys and girls learn the value of
teamwork and sportsmanship - and they have the time of their lives doing so!
SPONSORSHIP BENEFITS
* With 6 diamonds between Delmar Park on Glenside and the complex behind the
Administration Building on the corner of Norton and McCracken being used every
night throughout the entire regular season (mid April through July), RPYA serves
over 400 families (nearly 300 children ages 5-18) each year with boys baseball.
* On any given night (and some Saturdays) during the regular season, RPYA has 5
or more games scheduled at both parks. The 25 teams playing, with 11-12 players
per team, bring an impressive amount of spectators (parents, relatives and friends)
out to the ballpark each night. With each team playing two to three games weekly,
there is a substantial rotation of families and friends passing through each week. In
addition, Area All Star tournaments are hosted which will typically bring several
hundred spectators from other surrounding areas throughout the months of July
and August.
*As an RPYA sponsor, your business is viewed on an outfield fence banner in the
finest light by proud parents and relatives right here in the community where you
do business. Your professionally designed 4-color message will be seen during the
game action by the most attentive and loyal spectators a business can reach - Moms,
Dads and Grandparents! The signs also have great exposure to automobile and
pedestrian traffic in Norton Shores and Roosevelt Park!
RPYA is a 501c3 IRS tax-exempt organization, which means your sponsorship
donation is 100% tax deductible!
