Scholarship Opportunities

At RPYA, we don't want financial reasons to prevent any player from being able to participate in Little League Baseball. In partnership with our community sponsors, we are excited to announce that again this year, a limited number of scholarships will be made available to those in need. These scholarships will be used to waive league registration fees (or refund those fees already paid) for those they are awarded to.

If you are interested in applying for a scholarship, please submit an email to [email protected] no later than February 15, 2026. This email can contain as much or as little information as you would like. Suggestions of information to consider including could be financial need, any special circumstances affecting the ability to pay, league involvement, volunteer time, other community involvement, or any other information that you would like considered (please don't include any specific information about race, gender, sexual orientation, or other demographic information).

These applications and the information submitted will remain confidential to the RPYA Board of Directors and the independent scholarship committee. This independent scholarship committee, which is primarily made up of those with past ties to RPYA but who no longer have children in the league, has been established to review these applications and will have the sole discretion to choose who to award the limited number of scholarships to.

Additionally, Little League of America has partnered with T-Mobile to offer the T-Mobile Little League Call Up Grant. Details and applications can be found at https://www.littleleague.org/call-up-grant-program/. The application deadline for these player-grants is February 4.

If anyone is in need of equipment (glove, helmet, bat, cleats) for financial or other reasons, please also don't hesitate to email [email protected] and we can attempt to secure a donation of new or gently used equipment as well.
